The Alliance for Community Media Western States Region is soliciting entries for the 2009 WAVE Awards. Winners will be announced at the ACM West Conference to be held in Reno, October 16-18. The WAVE Awards honor producers with superb content that debuted on community television stations. Categories are numerous so chances are your show fits into one of them. If you're interested in entering, you can pay the reduced entry fee by submitting your content to the Media Center by MONDAY, August 10 in order for us to process them and send them in. You'll need:
Four copies of your form
Your DVD, labeled as per their instructions
A check made out to the MEDIA CENTER for $25 per entry
All entries must have had their first public showing on a Public, Education, Government Access or local origination channel
between August 15, 2008 and August 15, 2009.
