Media Center to Carry Popular Local Sports Show

The Media Center has "negotiated" with PenTV in San Carlos to bring you HOOKED ON NINERS, the popular weekly half hour football show produced by PenTV. We bring you commercial free, locally produced programming.

Hooked on Niners brings together local football experts and enthusiasts to roundtable the previous week's game. It is really fun to watch!

Our community has been left reeling by a series of suicides among our young people this summer. TIVO TIME - YOUTH VIDEO WEEK BEGINS FRIDAY, Sept 11, Channel 28

This year Youth Video Week is actually a week (Monday through Friday) and two weekends! Starting next Friday, September 11 at 3:30 pm until Sunday, September 20 at midnight, we are running Youth produced or Youth-involved videos 24/7. We are pre-empting all regular programming in order to honor the work of our young people on Channel 28, our Youth, Education and Sports- themed channel.

This year we are offering up some great shows produced by our summer campers at our DIGIQUEST video production camps and I am pulling some Digiquest shows from the archives as well. Also we have programs produced by our Interns and the kids on our Youth Advisory Council. Be on the look-out for the Middle School and High School Greenlight 2009 Finalists -- and there is so much more.

This has been a great year at the Media Center for Youth production. We have had two stellar youth coordinators - Danielle Fairbairn and Becca Fisher. They have inspired our kids to greatness. You can't watch non-stop but make sure you get the TIVO set up and get ready to have some fun.

You can find the schedule already up on the WEB. And remember once you are on the schedules page you can enter any part of the name of the show you're interested in seeing and the search will show you all the shows with that name in it.
