The Media Center’s founding (and former) Executive Director, Elliot Margolies, has been interviewing leaders in community media to explore our history and what makes for a relevant media center in today’s Internet 2.0 cyberscape. The interviews are divided into numerous subclips so you can easily swoop in and listen to what you’re looking for. Elliot recommends the interview with Laurie Cirivello for anyone curious about another vanguard media center (Grand Rapids, MI) and the range of contemporary services that can be offered. There are also interviews with George Stoney and Sue Buske two of the first practitioners/developers of public access TV.
